中文摘要中医药学是中华民族的优秀传统文化，在数千年的医疗实践中形成了独特的理论体系，成为世界医学尤其是世界传统医学宝库的一朵奇葩。在人类追求绿色回归的今天，中医药更是因其神奇的临床疗效、独特的理论体系、低廉的医疗费用、绿色天然较少毒副作用等特性得到世界各国越来越多的医学人士的重视和认可，中医国际化已成为世界医学发展的必然趋势。中医源于中国的传统文化，中医的理论著作皆带有浓厚的中国传统文化色彩，对世界其他国家尤其是西方国家人士而言，传统中医药学是一种异质文化，有着相当大的学习难度。要真正做到中医药学全面对外交流，实现中医药学完全走向世界,首要任务就是要准确有效地开展中医英译工作,将中医药学的理论体系、临床实践与科研成果规范系统地翻译成英文，宣传推广到国外。中医药理论内涵丰富,论著及文献极多,内容十分广泛,其语言结构和词汇使用有其自身的规律和特点。所以，中医英译人员不但要有较高的英文水平,还要有医学专业知识,尤其是中医药专业知识，同时，也要具备熟练驾驭汉语及古汉语的能力,以及一定的翻译技能和实践经验。长期以来，中医翻译界存在重实践经验轻理论研究的现象，至今尚未建立健全规范化的翻译理论指导体系，由此造成译者没有标准可循，加之受中医学科的自身特点、译者的知识结构以及不同习惯、文化环境等因素的制约，中医翻译出现种种混乱局面，严重影响了中医药在国际上更快更好的传播和应用。因此，迫切需要加强中医英译的标准化建设，探索一套从理论到实践较为完善的程序和体系，指导中医药翻译实践、理论传播和成果推广。本文广泛收集了目前国内外公开出版发行的中医药期刊杂志和专著专论60余种，对其中医英语翻译加以归类分析，尤其对中医基础理论基本术语的英译、中药名的英译、中医方剂的英译、针灸经络的英译、中医病名诊断及症状学的英译、中医经典名著的英译进行了深入的研究，通过分析比较各类译文的优劣，探索在中医术语英译实践中如何灵活应用直译、意译、音译、半音半意、构造新词等基本方法，归纳总结出中医术语英译实践应遵循的对应性、简洁性、同一性、回译性、约定俗成等基本原则。有理由相信中医术语英译的规范化研究必将有力地规范国内外各类中医译本、推动中医药的对外交流与合作，促进中医学更好地与世界医学接轨。

AbstractChinesemedicine,beingpartofculturaltreasureoftheChinesetradition,hasformeditsowncharacteristictheoriesthroughoutthousandsofyearsofmedicalpractice.NowadaysChinesemedicinehasgainedmoreandmoreattentionfromallovertheworldforitsmagictherapeuticeffects,uniquetheories,cheapcosts,andnaturalmaterialswithouttoxicity.MoreandmoreexpertsandscholarsinmedicalfieldsarestudyinganddoingscientificresearchonChinesemedicine.InternationalizationofChinesemedicinehasbecomeanecessarytrend.ChinesemedicineisrootedintraditionalChineseculture.ForeignpeopleusuallyfinditverydifficulttolearnandunderstandChinesemedicinewell.TopromoteoverallinternationalcooperationandexchangeofChinesemedicine,weshallfirstconductcorrectandeffectivetranslationworktointroduceknowledge,theoriesandclinicalapplicationofChinesemedicinetotheworldpeople.ForvariousreasonstranslationofChinesemedicineintoEnglishisbynomeansaneasyjob.ThetheoriesaresometimesdifficulttounderstandeveninChineselanguage.GoodtranslationisbasedonmanyrequirementssuchasgoodcommandofbothancientandmodernChineselanguages,goodcommandofEnglishlanguage,goodcommandoftranslationtheories,goodcommandofknowledgeofbothChineseandWesternmedicine,etc.TherehavebeenfoundmanyproblemsinthepracticeoftranslationfromChineseintoEnglish.ManyreadershavebeenmisledandgotconfusedandsometimesgotlostinmeaningsoftheoriesofChinesemedicine.Therefore,themostimportantjobpresentlyistoworkoutasystemofstandardizedtranslationprinciplestoguidetranslationworkinthisarea.Thispapercollectedmorethan60magazinesandbooksofChinesemedicinepublishedopenbothhomeandabroad.TheirEnglishtranslationmethodsespeciallythetranslationconcerningthefieldsofbasicaltheoriesofChinesemedicine,Chineseherbs,Chineseprescriptions,acupunctureandmoxibustion,channelsandmeridians,Chinesediagnostics,diseasesandsyndromes,andclassicalliteratureofChinesemedicinewerecarefullyandsystematicallystudiedandanalyzed.Fromanoverallstudy,thispapersummarizedsomegeneralprinciplestoguidetranslationactivities.TherearegoodreasonstobelievethattheseprinciplesshallcertainlyhelppromotestandardizedtranslationofChinesemedicine,andhelpChinesemedicineintegratewiththeworldmedicine.
